Role Description
Area Manager (Business Development Manager)
Location: Covering circa 20 Dental Practices in the West Midlands (Birmingham, Telford, Dudley, Tamworth and Burton upon Trent) with the frequent need to attend meetings in Manchester or Northampton when required.

The Role
- Accountable for the practice performance of your area
- Line management, training and recruitment of your Practice Management team
- Working towards the overall area EBITDA Target through NHS delivery and private growth targets.
- Ensuring quality service delivery for our patients and our people.
- Working alongside the compliance team to ensure all practices are CQC compliant and Health and Safety policies are adhered to.
- Leading on organisational change and transformation initiatives that meet evolving business requirements.
- Proactively driving engagement and retention initiatives across the area for both employed and self-employed colleagues.
- Ensuring each practice has a clear marketing strategy with key events throughout the year.
- Conducting monthly business reviews, PM meetings and forecasting
Skills & Experience
- Experience of a multi-site operational role within a regulated, highly governed or clinical environment (essential)
- Dental industry experience (desirable)
- Drivers’ licence and full flexibility to travel within your area
- Ability to create, activate and embed change through use of strong change management, business and commercial skills.
- Commercially aware with experience managing Profit and Loss sheets and budgets.
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Evidence of coaching and development with a determination to lead and succeed.
- Focused and goal oriented.
- Passion, energy, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills
