HR Business Partner

Location: Covering the practices in the North of the UK (Merseyside, Manchester, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Birmingham) and our Support Centre based in Northampton.

  • Maternity cover contract until approx Aug 2024
  • £55k salary
  • Car allowance

As the HR Business Partner for your region, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Operations to deliver the people plan. The role will involve supporting Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Practice Managers deliver projects, provide advice and guidance, and improve colleague engagement and retention across circa 100 Dental Practices.

 

About the role

  • Acting on key people challenges, especially if linked to clinician or support colleague retention and performance
  • Bringing people expertise and developing solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy and operational performance
  • Influencing and building relationships with people around the business
  • Investigating the root of people related business issues and adopting a coaching approach to key stakeholders
  • Help to implement the new Colleague Value Proposition, as a key driver of the new company culture
  • Supporting our company goals linked to career development and Reward. Partnering with L&D to empower career progression, and to provide viable succession plans for key management roles.
  • Leading and participating in HR projects as a HR and Operations expert
  • Keeping the operation teams informed of all employment law changes and best practice, handling escalated cases where needed
  • Management of an Assistant HR Business Partner

 

Skills and Experience

  • Comparable Multi-site experience (essential)  – and if you have experience of a regulated, highly governed or clinical environment that would be an advantage
  • Passion for colleague retention and engagement able to translate into meaningful plans for your region
  • Proven HR generalist with extensive experience of working with operational stakeholders to support in the delivery of their overall regional plans
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to coach and influence effectively
  • Performance and business driven; solutions orientated
