We are seeking a skilled Procurement & Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering quality and value across our procurement processes.

About the role

As the Procurement & Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing procurement activities across our dental practice network. You will ensure cost optimisation, supplier performance, and regulatory compliance while providing expert contract management advice. The role requires a strong negotiator with a proven history in procurement management. Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance & Procurement, you will have regular contact with senior leaders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee & manage diverse range of contracts to support functions across the business
  • Lead contract renewals & tender process  as well as presenting business cases to senior leaders
  • Identify cost savings & areas to improve efficiency in procurement processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support the business achieving both, new strategic & BAU operational goals
  • Primary point of contact for current & prospective suppliers to the business and foster strong supplier relationships
  • Manage procurement projects from initiation to completion with both internal & external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures
  • Analyse & forecast business demand to achieve economies of scale
     

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven track record in procurement management
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and procurement projects effectively
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
     
     

Desirable:

  • Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
  • CIPS qualification
