Property Maintenance Operative

Full time vacancy 40 hours per week 

Covering the following locations:  Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wales

You will also be required to stay overnight on an adhoc basis 

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Property Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance tasks across various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

* Preventive Maintenance:

   * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on plant and machinery.

   * Identify and rectify potential issues before they escalate.

   * Implement a proactive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.

* Reactive Maintenance:

   * Respond promptly to breakdowns and equipment failures.

   * Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

   * Efficiently repair and restore equipment to full operational capacity.

* Fault Finding:

   * Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint the root cause of equipment malfunctions.

   * Implement effective solutions to prevent recurring problems.

* Installation and Commissioning:

   * Install new equipment and machinery.

   * Configure and test systems to ensure optimal performance.

* Compliance:

   * Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

   * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

* Continuous Improvement:

   * Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and efficiency.

   * Propose innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

* Proven experience as a Property Maintenance

* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
