(Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer)

Field Based - Full Time

Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire

 

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Property Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance tasks across various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, across our estate of dental practices. 

This role will include daily travelling and occasional overnight stays, you must have a full UK driving licence.

 

Key Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on plant and machinery.
  • Identify and rectify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Implement a proactive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.

Reactive Maintenance

  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Efficiently repair and restore equipment to full operational capacity.

Fault Finding

  • Use diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint the root cause of equipment malfunctions.
  • Implement effective solutions to prevent recurring problems.

Installation and Commissioning

  • Install new equipment and machinery.
  • Configure and test systems to ensure optimal performance.

Compliance

  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and efficiency
  • Propose innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability

 

About You

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.
