Receptionist
Location: Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29 6BQ
24 hours per week - Monday 9am-6pm, Tuesday 6-9pm, Thursday 9am-6pm, Saturday 10-5pm

Our Receptionists are a key part of the dental team, from the first phone call to the completion of treatment, they provide outstanding customer service to all patients.
Key responsibilities:
- Answering queries ensuring an exceptional patient journey both in person and over the phone
- Booking and rearranging appointments in the most efficient manner using a diary-management system
- Completing relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within a specified timescale
- Taking payments and chasing outstanding patient debt
- Liaising with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations
Key skills and experience:
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, ideally gained in a front of house customer facing role (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of organisation
- An excellent team player
- Positive nature - able to adapt and take on change easily
- Responsible and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to use IT and computer-based systems
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills
- Be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English (desirable)
- Prior experience in a dental/medical background (desirable)
