Acquisition Transaction Controller

Location: Hybrid Working (Work from home & Northampton Support Centre)

Salary: £38,000-£40,000 (DOE)

We are looking for an experienced Acquisitions Transaction Controller to join our Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering our growth strategy by managing M&A and business development transactions from Heads of Terms through to completion.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Project managing M&A and Business Development transactions from Heads of Terms through to completion or conclusion
  • Creating, owning and maintaining bespoke project plans, monitoring milestones, risks and dependencies
  • Managing weekly meetings and internal RDP stakeholders to ensure project milestones, diligence checks and enquiries are on track 
  • Setting up and managing transaction data rooms in collaboration with external solicitors
  • Coordinating financial and legal due diligence activity and tracking enquiries through to resolution
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for sellers and their professional advisors
  • Supporting NHS contract variations, CQC applications and other regulatory requirements linked to transactions
  • Providing clear progress reporting to senior stakeholders and supporting post-completion handover to Integration

 

What we’re looking for

  • Experience supporting or managing M&A or Business Development transactions
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams to tight deadlines
  • A solid understanding of due diligence processes, contracts and transaction governance
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and manage professional stakeholders
  • Experience within healthcare, dental, NHS or regulated environments is desirable
